"Is it? I suppose I should get a refill." He was starting to feel awkward.

Dealing with social interaction when the purpose of it was clear to him, he could handle. It usually took some meditation before and after, but he could handle it. Small talk, with someone he hasn't researched, without preparing the agenda? Pfff, that's the stuff he fed Baku -no-oni with.

"I am not good in small talk. I understand that you are being civil and friendly, but I feel that I should inform you, so that you avoid any wrong impressions."

"Well, I think you probably will find it soon enough. You are a samurai besides your duties to your Clan you can hear a calling to one place or the other." The Hida nodded.

"I suppose you are right." He agreed mostly to close the subject. He was tired of it.

"It's getting late. I hope you will excuse me. I need to be elsewhere." He announced, stood up and gave a bow.
