"Intelligence Operations" is perhaps unsurprisingly an even larger area than command as it combines quite a bit under one group of tents. Central processing is the section most familiar to all the members of the army, as everyone reporting into the army had to check in. Dozens of low ranking officers at the heads of dozens of lines checking travel papers and giving out assingments puts one in the mind of many streams flowing into a single ocean.

Scouting operations also maintains it's headquartrers here, functioning similiarly in a smaller fashion. There initial reports of the road head are processed as scouts come and go. While the likelihood of finding anything out of the ordinary this close to the hub village is miniscule, the scouts do not slack in their duties. If there's a blade of grass out of place, it will be reported.
