Despair and Wisdom: Imperial March

Even in camp, there are shrines. Temporary and portable as they may be, they yet require attention and reverence, and so Isawa Hana attends to one of them, cleaning it and clapping her hands loudly to announce herself to the spirits therein.

The rites do not take long, and there is time yet to confer.

Hida Masayuki is stirred from his reverie at the sound of the clapping. He observes Isawa-sama quietly, and bows to her as she turns his direction.

Hana returns the bow.

"Looking forward to heading back towards home?" she asks.

Then she gives another, shorter bow. "Isawa Hana, Sixth Kaisha."

Masayuki replies "This one is Hida Masayuli and I am looking forward to the return home in a time of need. It has never been forgotten what those on the wall do for all Rokugani."

"Its is a pleasure to make your acquaintance," he stammers.

A slight smile curls Hana's lips.

"I take it you've stood such a post before, then," she says. "This must be easy in comparison."

Nearby, Agasha Daikumo works and focuses and hones the blades of those that need maintenance. He does so with a sense of calm contemplation and love for his craft obvious in his movements and his eyes. During the process he uses tools of worship and small sacrifices to purify and reinforce the spiritual well being of the blades he is working on. While he's not overtly seeking to show off or call attention to himself, his work is something of a spectacle with the marriage of sword maintenance and spiritual purification. It's not just relaxing for himself, it's relaxing for those that are nearby and observing.
