The army was on the move, like some great beast, eating up mile after mile of Crane lands. However, there were differences among the groups. The second Kaisha were definitely the early risers, out to Scout as soon as the first rays of Lady Sun graced them with the ability to see. Of course, they also were the first to come to a halt as the peasants attached to them starting setting up the camp for everyone.

Fifth Kaisha, being much closer to the end of the beast, rose later, with their peasants doing more towards the breaking down. Everyone marched the same miles, but experienced the day just slightly differently.

For example, some people liked to march around to the sound of tiny ringing bells while they smiled at everyone and everything. Of course, that only reallya applied to the chui in charge of the fifth, but there he rode, making sure the supply wagons were properly loaded and no one was sneaking off. Desertion wasn't really a problem for the Imperial Legions, and certainly not this early in the march, but still, Fuwanan liked to expect the unexpected.

Edogawa had spotted a few useful herbs near the road and had separated from his Kaisha to gather them. They would be a relatively minor addition to the Legion's supplies, but there was no way to be sure of what they would need as the march progressed. As expected, he found his unit nearly out of sight as he returned to the road. But, it shouldn't be too difficult to catch up.

For now, he offered greetings to the Fifth Kaisha as he moved with them.

Fuwanan laughed softly as he walked by the Kitsuki, pausing a bit to converse with him and return his greeting.

"Goooooood morning, Kitsuki-san. Does your commander have you out picking flowers? I know the Crane do sooooo love their flowers, but it seems an odd time to do such?" he asked, his voice playful.

"They are just some herbs, I spotted." he replied. "I felt it would be wise to add to our medicinal supplies while we can."

Hikimasu was still mounted on Yudaina. Lunch would be coming in a few hours and he'd allow his mount to rest at that point, find Kheree and share some rice. Guarding the supplies was all well and good, it kept Hikimasu out of scouting duties and the job was relatively easy. He wondered though, if having a bit of a slow day would find him wandering about on unofficial business. It would seem someone wouldn't really be missed if they wandered off.

Then he saw Edogawa and the Chui and decided that wandering off likely wasn't a great idea.

He did give the Kitsuki a bow, recalling him from some time ago.

Fuwanan clapped his hands together.

"Aaaaah, you're out foraging. You are quite corrrrect, Kitsuki-san, an army on the move canot hope to pack everything it might neeeeed." he agrees.

He turned to the approaching Scorpion.

"Look, Shosuro-san, Kitsuki-san has been forrrrtunate enough to find medicinal berbs. What have youuuuu found this morning?"
