Occupying selected sublevels of the Watchtower, the Dungeon serves as a place where those who have erred can be confined when circumstances do not admit of their immediate disposal.
Sometimes, this is because a Crab soldier who should have been sober was not, and a little correction will work a wonder. Sometimes, this is because a visiting warrior cannot be subjected to the usual Crab discipline and needs to be held until remanded to more appropriate authority. Sometimes, this is because a magistrate has need of a strong place in which to effect the enforcement of law.
Sometimes, this is because the Kuni have questions that will be answered.
Never is it a place someone should want to be.
