Despair and Wisdom: Imperial March

Thrusting forward into the lands of the Crab, the gatehouse that admits personnel into the Watchtower is a hulking, imposing thing that makes no attempt to conceal its martial nature from those who approach. Command banners hang from its walls, arrow-slits stud its face, and glimpses of siege engines can be seen atop its crown. Several tall doors stand closed until ordered open; a pair of smaller doors remains open but under guard, with robed Kuni shugenja present alongside Hida fighters in heavy armor. Several tents and a couple of merchant stalls are nearby, offering some few comforts not allowed within.
