[Hida Masayuki]

Hida Masayuki meets up with his troops as arranged after everyone has broken down their tents and before they head to the mess tent.

He praises them for making good time on today's march, but says they can do better tomorrow. "No matter how interesting something on the way seems, take it with your eyes and do not stray from the march. You may move within formation to meet up with other members of our unit. We must have NO MORE STRAGGLING on the way as we had this morning. We must remain vigilant and prepared on the march. In camp we must dispatch our duty as assigned."

Masayuki proceeds to assign those to dig trenches, attend to the mess tent for preparations, see to the horses and assist at the supply tent.

As the Hida diligently trained the troops, a woman in the colors of the Unicorn watched on approvingly. It was clear from her stance that she intended to speak to him once he had completed his instruction.

With the troops dismissed, Masayuki notices the Unicorn waiting. "Greetings, Shinjo-sama. How was the first day in the Second Kaisha?"

With the troops dismissed, Masayuki notices the Unicorn waiting. "Greetings, Shinjo-sama. How was the first day in the Second Kaisha?"

"Second Kaisha is performing admirably, Hida-san, thank you for asking." she replies. "Your own efforts seem to be paying off as well."

She nodded at the departing soldiers.

"I do have duties awaiting me Hida-san, so please forgive me not dallying overlong with pleasantries. Some of the scouts encountered signs of bandit activity, and in the course of their scouting came across the name 'Ganbataar'. Intelligence had noted in their files that you had history with such a person, and so I wished to see if you had any additional intel to share that might be of use."

Masayuki is taken aback. "Yes, that scoundrel is well known for his banditry, both on the road as well as in homes and business and will use whatever means necessary to get what he wants. I will be on the lookout for him"May the Fortunes be with you this day."

Masayuki continues with his preparations and has heightened awareness since Ganbataar may be near.

Meilin bows allowing the Crab to return to his renewed preparations while she returns to her duties.
