Character Requirements
Posted: Tue Jan 23, 2024 12:16 am
Characters must be:
1. Human
2. Rokugani
3. Samurai
4. Capable of serving in an Imperial Legion marching to the Wall. This does not require a character to be a bushi, as courtiers and shugenja are welcome to serve. However, if a character's disavantages or proclivities would make such a position extremely unlikely (as determined by the gms), players will be encouraged to submit a different character.
All currently available 5e books are available (as bound by the above restrictions). If you are drawing from books outside of core, please be sure to cite which books you drew from and list the full mechanical description of such things drawn from them.
New players receive 30 xp to build with. Returning characters who have had less than 30 xp awarded to them receive xp to bring them up to 30, those returning characters over 30 xp gain no new additional xp.

There is a new title, Emerald Legionnaire, available here: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=69. The XP received to normalize character builds may be used towards the PCs original School, the Emerald Legionnaire title (available to all PCs), or to another title (which is subject to points 1-4, above).
