(D6, EN) Cleansing Rites (Closed)

[Isawa Mari]

The request had traveled through those still milling about after the disturbance, waiting on some authority to tell everyone what to do now. An invocation to help with the corruption they were dealing with. Too late for Shippai, but better than nothing. It's not hard to find those gathered for the work. She settles, carefully braiding the ribbons of her hair and tucking them up. The earth and air were often a bit at odds, and she didn't want to seem to favor the former too much.

She'll bow to those gathering, make suggestions based on the foundations she's learned, and burn offeratory incense.

(ooc. Availability is limited, so skilled Assistance is offered, but I'm not posting much.)

[Agasha Daikumo]

Daikumo made his way to the site of the rites. He nods to Mari in greeting as he arrives. This wasn't his particular area of expertise, and he didn't know if he could be of much help, but he would certainly do what he can for the good of the Legion.

[Isawa Hana]

Hana, looking haggard--the Sixth is her kaisha, after all--arrives, sent thence by a harried Matsu Oishi. She bows to the assembled, deeper to Mari.

[Yogo Adoka]

Once everyone was present Adoka bowed to them

"Samas thank you for offering your assistance. In case that any of you knows the prayer, I don't mind stepping back. Otherwise I would suggest that we begin."

[Agasha Daikumo]

Daikumo nods, offering to help out as an assistant in any capacity that's needed. He stands at the ready waiting for instructions while preparing tools and offerings.

Hana offers her assistance with skill. Also aplomb.

[Isawa Mari]

(do not know the prayer..had mistakenly guessed that this was for the actual Ritual called Cleansing Rite initially. So merely skilled assistance with Theology)

Mari will offer another Isawa perspective on the best way to reach beyond one's own teachings without drawing the wrong sort of spirits here.

Adoka had spent quite some time studying the area before deciding where it was best to conduct the rite.

Once he was satisfied, he approached the others and made sure that everyone knew what he/she was supposed to be doing. Then he removed his mask and undressed waist up.

His face was visible but his warpaint probably made his mask look less threatening.



Finally he started chanting.

A green wave of energy emanates out from Adoka, spreading across the ground of a fair area. The soil remains blasted, but there's a...wholesomeness...to it that had been absent before. It would need tending, and promptly, but it might well grow life again if it were to receive it.

Those who look on feel a sense of peace, as if a balance has been restored.

[Yogo Adoka]

The task done Adoka turned to the servants of the kami and bowed deeper than he would bow to anyone non Scorpion.

"Samas, thank you for your assistance. It goes without saying that it wouldn't have been done without it. Please feel free to reach out to me, whenever you need any assistance."

Only once he stood up did he fixed his kimono on himself and wore his mask.

"I intend to have some tea now or pray to Bishamon, depending on whether any of you feels like joining me." If anything that was a perfect opportunity for quality interaction with people who shared some of his perceptions of reality.
